Most Westernized yoga classes focus on learning physical poses, which are called asanas. They also usually include some form of breathing technique and possibly a meditation technique as well. Some yoga classes are designed purely for relaxation. But there are styles of yoga that teach you how to move your body in new ways. Choosing one of these styles offers the greatest health benefits by enabling you to develop your flexibility, strength, and balance.
What is Pilates? Core strength is the foundation of Pilates exercise. The core muscles are the deep, internal muscles of the abdomen and back. When the core muscles are strong and doing their job, as they are trained to do in Pilates, they work in tandem with the more superficial muscles of the trunk to support the spine and movement.
As you develop your core strength you develop stability throughout your entire torso. This is one of the ways Pilates helps people overcome back pain. As the trunk is properly stabilized, pressure on the back is relieved and the body is able to move freely and efficiently.
What Fitness Packages do you have? We offer options of 4, 8 or unlimited classes a month for Fitness Adult classes and Program registrations for Zumba Kids Classes during Fall, Winter and Spring. There is also Summer Camps for kids!!!
Which ones are the Fitness classes? Zumba, Zumba Toning, Zumba Sentao, Zumbatomic, Bokwa, Pilates, Yoga, Barre Concept.
What shoul I bring to the Fitness class? Sport Wear, Sport Shoes (preferible as flat as possible for Zumba classes), a towel, a bottle of water, your own mat for Yoga-Pilates-Barre Concept (if desired), your Zumba Stick for Zumba Toning (if have them) or dumbbells no hevier than 2.5lb
Which ones are the Dance classes? Ballet, Broadway Jazz, Hip Hop, Salsa, Social Dance, Bellydance.
What should I bring to the Dance class? A towel, a bottle of water and the wear or uniform according to the class. Each Dance class has it own uniform, ask for it in the front desk to bring the according one.
Can I use my Fitness Classes package in the Dance classes? No, Dance classes are special programs that involves students in a development of levels. So you need technique to continue to the next level. You can have access to those programs and select any quantity of hours a week you want to attend.
What is a Membership? Is the special price option for the Fitness class. With the Membership card you are able to attend to all the Fitness classes as many times a day or a week you want depending of the quantity of classes of the one you have choosen. You also get invitations to special events, special discounts in Dance classes and more!!!
How can I have a Membership? You only have to ask for it in the front desk. You will have to sign the 6 or 1 year contract and be able to pay it with your credit card. The payments will be made automatically month by month, since the moment of your registration.
How can I try a Fitness class? Your first Fitness class is free Mornings or Monday to Friday at 6pm. So contact us here and we will make effective your Free first class!! Contact us
Can I Share my Punch Card? Yes you can, we always recommend you to attend as much classes as possible to see the results you want to achieve, so you can share it in the same class with friends or family!!
Can I transfer my Membership Card? No, the Membership card is only for the owner and can be used only by the owner of the Membership.
I have never tried Zumba before, can I participate in Zumba Toning?
Yes!! Zumba Toning has everything you need combined! It is a body-sculpting exercises and high-energy cardio work with Latin-infused Zumba moves! Although we always recomend to attend first to a regular Zumba class. that way you can have a better idea of how to take advantage of each move. Watch video in Fitness
Can I Bring my Dance Shoes to the Latin Social Dance Class?
Yes, provided the shoes are DANCE shoes.
What are Dance Shoes?
Dance shoes are for both ladies and men's and have non-slip suede soles, a metal shank in the arch for support and they are very light-weight and flexible. They are very special for every kind of Social Dance. You can find them in Dance Wear Centre
